EITC Tax Credit

Invest in Your Community with the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program

Redirect your business taxes to make a local impact and support vital educational initiatives through the Thaddeus Stevens Foundation, an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO). The EITC Business Tax Credit Program allows Pennsylvania businesses to allocate part of their state taxes directly towards supporting K-12 educational outreach initiatives led by Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

Key Programs Supported by EITC:

Adopt a Kindergarten: Introduce young students to hands-on technology across various professional fields through educational demonstrations and STEM-related activities. This program also includes campus visits where kindergarteners can explore college labs, meet faculty, and engage in a Graduation Ceremony that inspires and encourages higher educational aspirations.

Dual Enrollment: Offer high school seniors advanced placement and enriched educational experiences that count toward both their high school and potential college credits at Thaddeus Stevens College. This program prepares students for immediate entry into the workforce or further education, fostering paths out of poverty and into well-paying jobs.

Why Partner with Us? Your contributions through the EITC program play a crucial role at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, sparking interest in careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. By investing in these educational initiatives, you help students realize potentials and aspirations that may once have seemed unattainable.

At High, we view our role in community as being a “Bridge To Opportunity” for others, which entails increasing the capacity of career and technical education, exciting students about career paths around Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, promoting rational career exploration for parents, students and educators, and creating sustainable paths out of poverty by way of good paying jobs. Thaddeus Stevens checks all those boxes and more, and High remains thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with the College in its mission to educate Pennsylvania’s economically and socially disadvantaged, as well as other qualified students, for skilled employment in a diverse, ever-changing workforce.
